David Halverson has been appointed president of Protea Biosciences. He has more than 20 years of management experience in the pharmaceutical services industry, including serving as a director of sales for PPD Discovery and the Quintiles Preclinical Groups.    Mr. Halverson previously served as Protea’s vice president and chief business officer.
